Moritz Moll

Moritz Moll (1991, Munich) is a German painter living and working in Munich. He completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich(AdBK) in 2021 as a Meisterschüler of Prof. Anke Doberauer.

Working with oil, acrylic and spray paint on canvas, Moll explores intimate, often unobserved moments of everyday life, moving between portraiture, abstraction and spatial perception.

His work has been shown, among others, at a66Gallery, Galerie Biesenbach, Kunsthalle Karlsruhe, Maddox Gallery and Alzueta Gallery, and presented at art fairs including Art Karlsruhe, POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair, SWAB Barcelona and Art Cologne Mallorca. In 2021, Moll received a NEUSTART KULTUR grant from Stiftung Kunstfonds and was admitted to the scholarship programme of the Free State of Bavaria.
