Photography preserves time, allowing the past to be experienced in the present.

Paolo Costa’s photographs exist in the space between past and present. They capture the world of the Italian Dolce Vita while revealing the people behind its iconic images. Balancing documentary, portraiture, and cinematic staging, his photographs transcend their historical context and continue to resonate today.

The exhibition presents a selection of works from the Archivio Paolo Costa. Rather than being viewed solely as historical documents, these photographs invite reflection on memory, authenticity, representation, and the passage of time.
